Calm after the storm

Yesterday I spent the whole day in pyjama, so no outfit pic today.

Today I succeeded in getting out from bed just to visit some shops, to exchange the gift my mum gave to me (a long sweater I didn't like at all, and not only for my terrible mood) and to get this lovely cardi in grey and black.

C. already knows there are sales in Rome when we arrive (Thank you, Ella!), so he's preparing himself (LOL!) and tonight I'll go out for dinner with some desperate not housewives but women and will enjoy a bit for sure. Everything is not that bad today and I want to thank you all for your support.

Edito porque ayer me olvidé la traducción, pero, de paso, quiero deciros que siempre escribo primero en inglés y el español es una especie de resumen, por lo que a veces no soy capaz de decirlo tal cual y la verdad verdadera es la de la versión inglesa, así que si podéis leerlo en inglés mejor:

Por fin he conseguido salir de la cama, y ha sido para ir de tiendas jaja, he cambiado el jersey que me regaló mi madre por uno más bonito, y me he comprado esta chaqueta no una sino dos veces, en negro y en gris. Por cierto, C. ya sabe que nos vamos a Roma de rebajas (jaaaas) y ahora voy a salir a cenar con unas mujeres desesperadas a las que me apetece ver. Hoy las cosas pintan mejor y quería deciros gracias. :)

I hate Christmas

I know I said I wouldn't upload anything until next year, but I do miss you, my kitchen, my blog, my life in Melilla, my kind of freedom and you bloggers. I'm not really having a good time here. I don't like it here and all I want is this Christmas comes to an end asap. Thanks Godness that I'm travelling to Rome on January the 2nd, since this is the only thing that makes me happy at this very moment. Ok, that and the last outfit picture I took before leaving. Here it is.

Menos mal que me voy a Roma el día dos, que es lo único que hace que no me corte las venas. Eso y que tenía esta foto guardada en la manga. Ah, también mi nuevo colorete de mac y la bufanda estupenda que me esperaba ayer en h&m... :)

Flatmates and dresses

Have I already told you I hate my long-legged flatmate? So it is. And I hate her even more when she appears suddenly while I'm taking my outfit picture, like this morning. It's the most unflattering ever, because she looks amazing and I look shorter, fatter and worse than I usually do. You won't believe it, but I've been living with her for 3 months now and everyday she asks me what to dress up, just before I get into her closet and pick up some garments. That's what I made this morning and this was the result. Would you believe she had never worn these shorts to go work? Actually, she's not to congratulate but me! ;)

Es increible que la guarra patilarga que tengo por compañera de piso no se haya sacado más partido hasta ahora. Soy su estilista, y ella se parte de risa contándolo, pero es cierto. Cada día me pregunta qué-me-pongo y yo lo elijo entre su armario de cosas sencillitas y mucho negro, me dice que en la vida se habría puesto esa combinación y luego resulta que se mete en MI foto y sale así de bien. Es una asquerosa, y ahora entiendo por qué Ally McBeal no quería salir en escena con tías más altas y delgadas porque de verdad que una (yo) pierde muchísimo. Ya no la saco más. Bu.

Everything thrifted

I took this picture at 9.00 a.m. and I've been talking about the skirt since then. I thrifted it for 1 euro at the flea market the other day and it looks gorgeous (better than in pictures, I mean). Also the top and the shoes were thrifted. And even the tights were purchased at the flea market: they're by dim, as always, and I dared to buy them even I thought they wouldn't flatter me. Surprisingly, I love love love them.

Todo el mundo me pregunta hoy por la falda y me encanta decir que me costó un euro... De hecho hoy llevo todo todito de segunda mano y/o comprado por ahí tirado por cuatro duros.
