Twin dresses

This is the last straw!

I have bought this dress twice, in two different colours and sizes. I'll keep the one that fits me and sell the other in the market.

I'm not mad. It's just due to the fact that lately I don't usually choose the right size but a smaller one, which I'm a little bit worried about. Do I see me slimmer than I am? Have I taken some weight? My friend B. says it's because of the water in this town that our clothes get smaller in the washing machine. LOL. I just think we eat too many tapas.

When will my farewell lunch be?

Since I live so far from everywhere, I've said goodbye to many people. Every month somebody new arrives to Melilla and someone leaves us to go back home. It's not pleasant to say goodbye (unless you are the one who leaves, I mean!).

A stay-at-home Sunday

This weekend has been exhausting. After Thursday night party, I went to work half asleep on Friday. In the afternoon the nap was so long to go out to have dinner later. On saturday I went to the flea market with my friend Bego, bought a couple of vintage bags (I have to start selling them on ebay because there's no room for all them in my wardrobe!) and went to have some more tapas with some more summery wines. Three hours later, when we were nearly drunk, we decided to go to the beach to have a bath, so we zigzagged to home, put on our bikinis and went to the beach for the best bath ever and the longest siesta. At 9 p.m we ran home, had a shower, dressed up and went out for some party. I went to bed at 5 a.m.

Don't you think I deserve a stay-at-home Sunday?

Changes

Today my (little but selected) public has given me some advice. And yes, I will change some things in this blog. But first, I want to explain some things:

1. The reason why my pictures are so 'boring' is that I used to take them for the wardrobe remix group. There, I didn't try to be original with the picture but to show the outfit as good as possible.  And there's nothing better for that than a white background! 

But times have changed. From now on, I'll try not to take for granted that I will publish these pictures on flickr. Will allow not head-to-toe pictures. Won't matter if every garment is not shown so well.

2. I write in English for many reasons. The first one is that I got involved in this outfitters world in wardrobe remix, where there are people from worldwide. Another reason is that I found here a good way to improve my English. And the third one is that I didn't want to enter a community or being connected with friends but to show to myself I was able to have a blog like those I used to visit; Writing in English allowed me to stay away. Of course everything has changed and I have met you, my loved Spanish bloggers. From now on, I'll write in English but I'll add a translation below (for you V*! or other Spanish readers). 

3. I have a fotolog where I wrote about whatever and this blog has never wanted to be a substitute. Lately I don't feel like updating there much, but if I wanted to write more or dealing with different topics or just playing with photoshop it would be there for sure. You can have a look HERE.

And now, what I have just put on to go to the Supermarket because I have nothing in the fridge!!!! :P

Mi reducido pero selecto público me ha dado algunos consejillos. Y sí, algunas cosas van a cambiar en este blog. Pero antes, quiero explicar algo:

1. Como ya he escrito en los comentarios a la entrada anterior, este blog nació de wardrobe_remix. Allí trataba de enseñar el modelito lo mejor posible y siempre las fotos deben mostrar de la cabeza a los pies. Esa era mi idea inicial y por eso cuando me mudé aquí, tener una pared blanca en casa me pareció genial aunque las fotos pudieran ser aburridas...

Pero tenéis razón y eso ya me aburre. A partir de ahora no todo lo que se publique aquí irá allí y no todo lo de allí lo pondré aquí. ¿O eso sí?? Ya veré.

2. Escribo en inglés porque empecé con este tema de los outfits en wardrobe_remix, donde hay gente de todo el mundo. Además, me permite practicar, aprender palabras y mejorar mi inglés. Y también, porque en inglés sentía que me mantenía más lejos de la vida real, me limita más al escribir, y eso era lo que yo quería cuando empecé este blog. De hecho sólo mi novio lo conoce y ninguno de mis amigos lo ha visto nunca. 

Ahora las cosas han cambiado porque os he conocido, queridas blogueras (y Xavi jajaja), así que a partir de ahora, traduciré al final al español para que V* y algún otro rezagadillo con el inglés que pase por aquí pueda leerlo. ;)

3. Ya tuve un fotolog donde escribía sobre otras cosas y este blog nunca ha querido sustituirlo. Aquel lo fui abandonando poco a poco y desde que vivo en Melilla casi no le he hecho caso. Pero si quisiera de nuevo escribir más o sobre diferentes temas o volver a enredar con el photoshop seguro que lo haría allí. Podéis echarle un vistazo si queréis AQUÍ!

Y fin. El modelito es lo que me acabo de poner para irme pitando al super que tengo la nevera vacía!

Home outfit

I left Saragossa at 1 a.m., arrived at the airport at 4.30 a.m., took the flight at 7.10 a.m. and got to work at 9.15 a.m... Of course I took a looong nap as soon as I arrived home... a SIESTA, which sounds more Spanish! I've not taken off my home outfit yet. (I know you can see my underwear, that's why I only wear this at home!)

By the way, I changed the background for the picture because Lina told me she liked seeing something different from a white wall. What if I take my pics here from now on? It's the lightest spot of my house...

Tomorrow I have to work a thousand kilometres from home, so I'm just packing my suitcase to fly to Africa again... See you there!

Missing nothing but my mac

Ok, so after not posting for a while, I'm back again in spite of having my macbook a thousand kilometres away. I'm at my mum's home, enjoying my past life, visiting my friends, going out and about and being happy. On Wednesday I'll be back to work. Meanwhile, this outfit I adore.
