(Good that their customer service is better than their carrier and I have always got a refund!

Red heels for B*

B* from Sisters and dresses asked me the other day to look for some stunning red heels in size 7UK/40Eu... And this is what I could find. Let's see:

These by Minna Parikka are definitely my favourite, quite pricey though: (B*, estos son geniales pero caros)

These other have been my obsession during the whole winter season, still expensive though: (estos me han encantado todo el invierno y son carillos pero son preciosos)

If you want to spend less money, get these by Miss L Fire as well, amazing as well, that are now available with a good sale: (Éstos son chulos y de la misma marca y están de rebajas)

Cheaper options are these from dorothy perkins and these from ebay: (Si no eres muy delicada, éstos más baratos pueden estar bien)

And if you don't mind they are used, these are the best deal: (Si no te importa que estén llevados un par de veces, éstos son un chollo... aunque la foto sea muy mala tienen muy buena pinta!)

Hope she finds something she likes, as a woman can't be without a pair (or thousand pairs!) of red heels in her wardrobe! :)

Purple and mustard

Finally, I could take off the red!

And, since the other day I saw this colour combo that I liked so much, I decided to give it a twist. This is the result:

Red as always

Lately all my outfits include red, I don't know what Freud would say about so...

Polka dot shirt: sfera (at flea market)

Belt: came with a primark dress

Black tights: dim

White t-strap shoes: ebay vintage

Superb legs

If there is something I try to with every outfit, that's making my legs look longer and slimmer. I don't like my legs at all, so I try to get their best. 

Through my outfit pics, I've realized I don't like wearing mini skirts. They make me look... let's say 'not very slim'! :P Thus, I try to wear knee length skirts/dresses like this or this.

At the same time, I usually wear black tights, as they are definitely the most suitable for my plump legs. That's why I didn't like this or this.

I have also some tips to get the optical effect of longer legs, such as wearing tights which are the same colour as the shoes (like here or here), or wearing leggings in the way I wear them today:

Of course, high heels are obligatory. And these are stunning!:

To sum up, I need to say that sometimes I do not follow these rules and wear white tights or flat shoes or whatever not so flattering just because I feel like and I don't mind what anyone thinks... that's me!

Needing a pair of frilled t-bar shoes

I do know I am shoe-aholic, but this time there's no excuse... Hey, I was dreaming with them months after our first meeting!!!

Etsy dresses

Now that you know my way on etsy, I will show you my recent favourites. Let's see:

This wonderful sailor dress (not mentioning the blury picture and the skeletal legs of the model :S) that I found a week ago is getting me crazy:

I mention neither pricey stuff nor larger sizes... All these are good deals in a small size... I don't know how long I will be able to resist...

Zippers and leopard

Yesterday I did an exam and as soon as I had finished my comment on the Sonnet by Shakespeare (:P) I went to Zara to celebrate!

I bought this blazer with red leopard details that I think I will wear it much.

By the way, I got this top for 1 euro some months ago, and now I find it's so trendy with those zippers. As for the shoes, I was told at the court today that they are so Minnie Mouse's! :))

Lately I've been quite obsessed about wearing party clothes for my daily routine. Hence, I wear strapless dresses over basic tops or I dress up in a taffeta skirt with a cotton t-shirt...

I really like the result!

The power of a crappy picture

I've realized that many outfits I didn't like much, they become my favourite after seeing a good picture of them. 

On the other hand, there are clothes I liked before but I decide they don't really suit me after a picture of a bad outfit.

That's what happened today. I had to take a hundred photos just to get a non disgusting shot. The conclusion? I don't like this skirt anymore.

Dear reader,

Eyeliah, who is so far my unique reader as I've kept this blog secret, asked me some time ago for some tips so as to find good vintage on etsy. I really don't know what's the difference between searching on etsy or on ebay, but I will try to tell her (you) my experience.

When I search for something on etsy, first of all I select 'vintage: tags, titles'. Then I feel at home, let's vintage anita! (that's what I say to myself, LOL).

Secondly, I try to be less restrictive than in an ebay search: I don't look for '50s vintage dress full', I write just 'dress' instead. Don't worry, on etsy there won't be 160,000 results if you write dress without any adjective.

Thirdly, I don't select sort by price, as there is no bidding and the most interesting things available will probably be the latest listed.

After that, whenever I see an interesting item, I link to the shop/seller in order to see everything he/she has available, just in the same way I would do on ebay.

I really love etsy because I don't have to bid or wake up at 4 am to win a bid in the last minute! No more stress, that is the goal. Besides, people is much more friendly and prices could be (not always) more reasonable.
